James D. Livesay is the firm's primary family lawyer. Mr. Livesay
is a
graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and a veteran

the United States Navy JAG Corps. While he is experienced in

manner of family law case--- divorce, custody, visitation, child
and
spousal support--- Mr. Livesay focuses his practice on military
divorce. Mr. Livesay is intimately familiar with the myriad issues
unique to military divorce cases, including:
- military retired pay (and the Uniformed Services Former
Spouses
Protection Act);
- the Survivor Benefit Plan;
- military disability retired pay
and VA disability compensation; and
- the Soldiers and Sailors
