Roland Darby has represented many individuals who have been confronted with the diverse and difficult problems inherent in family law. The most difficult problems which individuals may face involve the dissolution of a marriage, the issues involving minor children, the division of complex and extensive personal finances, guardianship of adults and minors, and all other related matters. Personal Information Roland Darby was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on January 2, 1945, and moved to Texas at age 9. He has practiced law primarily in Houston, Texas since 1970. He has three adult children which he and his wife reared on a small horse farm in a rural community outside of Houston. He and his wife of 23 years still reside there. Recently he opened up a satellite office in Sealy, Texas near his home. He is a long time participant in the Big Brothers of Houston organization and a former member of the Grievance Committee for the State Bar of Texas. Roland's primary practice has been in the fields of personal injury and family law, but he enjoys contested trials of any sort.
