LAURIE R. HAZMAN has practiced family law for over ten years. She has lectured frequently on domestic relations issues for MICPEL, Maryland's leading continuing education body for lawyers, co-authored articles in the Maryland Bar Journal, been affiliated with several committees dedicated to enhancing the practice of family law, and volunteers as an attorney mediator in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Concentrating solely on domestic issues since 1989, Ms. Hazman received her B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore. In June 2000 she successfuly completed the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers Mediation course. Ms. Hazman is experienced in all facets of domestic litigation, from marital property, custody, visitation and alimony to modifications and post-judgment proceedings. She prides herself on the high quality of service to her clients, knowing that this is a most stressful and costly time in their lives.
