WHO WE ARE

John W. Thyden John W. Thyden, founding partner of the firm, has practiced for over 25 years in family law, bankruptcy law, commercial litigation, and real estate tax appeals. Mr. Thyden holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, and a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics from New York University. He is a frequent author of family law and bankruptcy articles, and he recently won a landmark family law case before the Court of Special Appeals in Maryland concerning the valuation of marital property. He serves on the Law Advisory Committee of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith and is a member of American Mensa Limited and Metropolitan Washington Mensa. thyden@smart.net
