The Law Firm of Boyd, Benson & Hendrickson and its predecessor firms have
practiced law in the greater Baltimore area continuously since the early
1930's. Boyd, Benson & Hendrickson is a small, 4 attorney law firm and prides
itself on giving personal attention to every client. The firm is engaged in a
general civic practice with emphasis in the areas of litigation, family law,
estates and trust, and corporate matters. Boyd, Benson & Hendrickson is
located in the former parish house of Old St. Paul's Church in downtown
Baltimore. The parish house was built in the 1870's and has been renovated for
the firm's offices.
Leah H. Lewis, one of the attorneys with Boyd, Benson & Hendrickson devotes over 50% of her practice to family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, adoption and property matters. Ms. Lewis is a 1980 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. Prior to law school she was a school teacher. Ms. Lewis has 4 grown children. Ms. Lewis provides competent and attentive legal representation to her clients in family law cases. She believes that the attorney's role is to provide the client with information and advice which will assist the client in making informed and balanced long term decisions. At the same time, the attorney must be a vigorous and capable advocate for the client in negotiations and litigation. Ms. Lewis provides brief in person and telephone consultations in connection with Maryland family law matters at no charge to the client to determine the nature of any legal issues and to discuss further representation. |
