Ann V. Crowley
has over 25 years experience practicing family law. She concentrates
her practice in the area of family law, including
adoption, divorce, custody/visitation, support, and related matters.
She has a particular interest in adoption issues and in trial work.
Over the course of her career, she has been the Guardian ad Litem
for hundreds of children in proceedings in family law. Her interest
in children carries over to her private life where she is extensively
involved in children’s programs such as Kidsave International.
In addition, Ms. Crowley has extensive experience representing
parents
in child neglect and abuse proceedings. She has represented parties
in adoption proceedings, including international adoptions. She
has represented natural parents in their efforts to place their
child
for adoption and family members and foster parents who want to
adopt, or who have sought custody of, children they have cared
for She practices
in all courts throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Prior to private practice, Ms. Crowley was an Assistant District
Attorney in Essex County, Massachusetts. . Ms. Crowley is a graduate
of Clark University and Boston College Law School. She is a Regional
Coordinator for the Committee for Public Counsel Services Child
and Family Law Panel and a member of the Committee for Public Counsel
Services Board. She is also a member of the Family Law and Civil
Litigation Sections of the Massachusetts Bar Association, a member
of the Essex County Bar Association and the founder of the Essex
County Juvenile Bar Association.
