Law Office of Steven Ballard provides high quality representation to
both women and men in divorce proceedings throughout Massachusetts.
Steven Ballard, a National Merit Finalist, an Ivy League Graduate, an
Honors Graduate of a first-tier law school, and winner of the prestigious
Public Interest Law Initiative Fellowship in Chicago, has varied experience
as a trial lawyer and litigator. As a sole proprietor with low overhead
expenses, he is able to handle divorce and family law matters on a sliding
scale fee basis, thus affording clients high quality service at very
competitive rates.
Attorney Steven Ballard has numerous years of experience as an educator, having taught primary and secondary school students both here in Massachusetts and in Taiwan, and is himself the sole custodial parent of his only child after divorce. He is thus uniquely able to understand and handle custody and visitation matters and other issues involving children. He also understands firsthand the problems and challenges of single and divorced parenthood, and many of the typical problems of both men and women as they face divorce. Attorney Steven Ballard has devoted much energy to serving the public interest, and now donates some of his time as a pro bono divorce attorney for the South Middlesex Legal Services. He has been asked to serve on more than one occasion as "Lawyer for a Day" for the Middlesex County Probate and Family Court, where he serves as the advocate available to emergency petitioners and others without legal representation. |
