The Family Law Section of the firm consists of four attorneys with substantial experience in advising clients and litigating claims involving family law issues such as divorce, child custody, alimony and child support. The practitioners' knowledge of commercial disputes often provides a helpful synergy in divorce cases where the focal point of the dispute typically involves asset evaluation, with underlying tax and accounting issues. As one of the few states where divorce issues are resolved by a jury trial, we believe that it is of paramount concern in Georgia to get advice from a seasoned professional with experience in alternate dispute resolution. Our approach to such cases is also made with an eye towards efficiency and avoiding the unexpected accrual of attorney's fees which can sometimes occur when a client's decision-making is affected by emotional issues involving his or her family.
