Robert A. Evans, Ph.D. has
over 25 years experience in applied psychology and the behavioral sciences.
He has practiced in a wide variety of areas including individual, group
and family counseling; psychological and educational evaluations; and
developed, delivered and evauated training programs and sfaff development
workshops.
He presently consults with
the medical, legal and law enforcement communities in Florida on Psychological
and Educational matters; conducts child custody evaluations and competency
assessments as ordered by Florida courts; provides Critical Incident
Stress Debriefings to victims of crime; and provides expert testimony
in Workplace Violence cases.
Dr. Evans has also managed
training and training related activities for the: US Deptments of Transportation,
Energy, Internal Revenue, Defense, and Postal Service; other training
programs were presented to Allied Signal; AT&T; CIGNA Insurance;
Crum and Forster; Kennedy Space Center; the Public Schools in the counties
of: Citrus, Clay, Flagler, Hillsborough, Orange, Pinellas, Seminole
and Volusia; and Tampa General Hospital.
Dr. Evans is a licensed School
Psychologist by the Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical
Quality Assurance; Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National
Certified Counselor, by the National Board of Certified Counselors;
Registered Child Custody Evaluator by the Professional Academy of Custody
Evaluators; Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist by the National Board
of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists; trained in Community Crisis Response
Team Intervention by the National Organization for Victim Assistance;
trained in Forensic Examinations and Advanced Child Custody Evaluations
by the University of South Florida, Dept. of Mental Health Law &
Policy.
Dr. Evans has been qualified
as Expert Witness and given sworn testimony in the following Florida
County Courts: Dade, Duval, Flagler, Hillsborough, Manatee, Marion,
Martin, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Putnam, Seminole, Volusia
and Walton.
Dr. Evans has numerous publications
and presentations in the Educatioal Psychology, Human Factors, Training
and Training Research arenas.
