Alan Jay Braverman is admitted to practice law in both Florida and New
Jersey. He has been an active member of The Florida Bar since 1973. He
graduated from the University of Maryland in 1970 and received his Juris
Doctor from the University of Miami in 1973. He lives in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida.
Mr. Braverman is Florida Board Certified in the area of Marital
and Family Law. In order to achieve this distinction, his ability
and experience in the field was evaluated favorably by both Judges
and other lawyers. He also passed a written examination and demonstrated
substantial experience in this specialty area. In addition, Mr. Braverman
has been certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a family mediator.
Mr. Braverman also vigorously pursues continuing legal education
in all subjects involved in Marital and Family Law.
Operating out of his office in Fort Lauderdale, Mr. Braverman practices
in Federal, Circuit and County Courts. His representation of clients'
interests includes but is not limited to:

- Children's issues such as Custody, Visitation, Parental Alienation,
and Dependency Proceedings
- Support issues for child support and alimony
- Equitable distribution of the marital and non-marital assets,

and Marital Settlement Agreements
Mr. Braverman has served on the Unauthorized Practice of Law and Grievance
Committees of The Florida Bar of which he has been a past chairman.
