(Ithaca, NY) in 1988, and a JD from the University of Minnesota
Law School (Minneapolis, MN) in 1997.
She
has been licensed to practice law in California since 1997.
She is an active member of the Family Law Section of the
Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF), a past chair of
the Barristers Club Solo and Small Firm Committee, and the
current Vice Chair of the Barristers Club Family Law Section.
She
was a member of the 2002 Family Law Local Rule Revision Commission
of the San Francisco Superior Court.
She
is a member of the Adoption Committee of the National Center
for Lesbian Rights.
She
was a 2001 and 2002 recipient of an Award of Merit from the
Bar Association of San Francisco for her work with the Volunteer
Legal Services Program, and was a 2002 Nominee for the State
Bar of California's President's Pro Bono Service Awards
She
has completed the Intensive Mediation Training Program with
Gary Friedman at the Center for Mediation In Law.
