My husband and I have only been married since May 2004. We are both residents of Rhode Island and have had severe problems before our marriage and during. We have considered divorce. But I am curious if we would be able to obtain an anullment? If it is something that we both agree on. We have an ii month old son, does that change things as far as anullment?

You need to look in the R.I. General lawson the requirements for annullment. Theindexfor the General laws are at URL

www.rilin.state.ri.us/Statutes/Statutes.html

On the index page, select title15 , "domestic relations" and readthe sections on anullment and void marriages. With a child there WILL BE child support.
