Dun youse know nuttin bout us Wes by God Virginians? It's poot'uhs. Kinda liken poontang widdout the tang. An iffen youse gonna sez it, sez it right. It's cantafford...one wud.

Man, I hope if any West Virginians actually do come here, they don't think I'm poking fun at em. I am, but being as I'm one of em, if they get offended, I'll have to get offended at myself and I just don't think I'm ready to do that. :grin:

LOL this just cracked me up.

I am from New York, but live in Ohio now.. and i am only 10 minutes from West Virginia, right over the bridge. I can go into a store and they mock me so bad on how i talk ( I still have a pretty bad NY accent), that when i hear them, its hard for me to want to not say anything.. all i say is.. "I'd love it if you went to NY and talked the way you did, you would't be making fun of us then" LOL

Well I'm in NH now. You New Yawkahs don't have nothing on these he'ah New Hampshah northernah's.

I did a temp job at a local college when I first moved here. I'd do a deep southern accent just to crack this one girl up who'd never heard "us" talk. LOL!
