seems like my husband has incured debts. n now he is asking me to pay partial if i wan spousal maintenance. i nevr knew abt his debts n he had nt used e money on me or child.will e court order me to pay partial of e debt. i just started a job so it will take me some time to get settled.

First, it's not up to him to decide anything. Unless you are willing to agree with him, the court has final say.

If the divorce proceeding is going on, any issues can be negotiable between you two as long as they are within reason. Otherwise, any debts or marital property incurred DURING marriage will be subjected to equitable distribution and responsibility between you two, and it doesn't matter on whose name.

we r nt separated legally. its just that he does nt wan to stay or talk to me n the child.
