In some cases, for short term (less than 10 year) marriages, the courts may decide to not assign spousal support. In cases where they do, it is usually for half the term of the marriage - in your case for 1 year.

There are calculators available to you - such as DISSOMASTER that can calculate your support amounts in private. Your child support will be based on both incomes and the amount of time each of you spends with the child + the half of the shared medical, dental, visitation travel, mandatory school and day care expenses.

21 years old and she wants to find herself? Tell her not to forget her dolly..

Your ex used you as a lottery ticket. As I'm sure you already know, your child support alone is going to be over a quarter of a million by the time the child is 18.

Any alimony with a 2 year marriage is uncommon. Are you paying any of her bills now? If not, keep it that way. Sometimes the status quo is ordered. So, if you were paying all her bills, they might order that until the divorce is final.

I pay health. auto insurance. she works on an off. but left the house yesterday. my child support issue is another hot topic. I'm trying to get ball park estimates on child support with me making 100k and her earning potential around 20k and child with me 40 percent of the time
