I live in Florida, however my case was done in NY 2002. I have sole custody of my children. My youngest daughter has been diagnosed with mental illness (bi polar) and has been Baker Acted 3 times since February. This last time, the doctor said that she would be most benefitted by living in a group facility until she stablizes. She is very disturbed, and calls from dad make it worse. He doesn't believe she's sick, because his sisters have it, his aunt and grandmother as well. He's used to it. ANyway, He is looking to fight for custody of my daughter. If he were able to take care of her and she would be better off, I would gladly release custody to him. However it's not the best situation where he lives either. Does anyone have an idea what could happen?
