I'm a 48 yr old male, filled for divorce last Jan 09. 7 year marriage, No kids, No appreciable assest (have ouse with maybe $6k equity, after realestate fees ... it's a negative).

She now has an attorney. I'm not represented (thought it would be an easy D).

I make quite a bit more than her ($8K to her $1.5K mo).

They want the world...

1. would mediation be useful (Retired Judge Lewis)?
2. how screwed should I expect (looking for reasonable and hopefully "fair" settlement and terms.
3. I have seen an attorney, he said our case was easy and that I do not need representation.
4. what can I expect???

Also, I filed stalking order on her 4 weeks ago.

Thx

I agree with astro, I'd say get an attorney. It could save you in the end.
