Okay, if you have ever read my other posts you know that my X has pc of daughter in TX. I live in LA. My X has finally started speaking to me as of recent and has asked me to talk to my daughter about moving with me. He says he won't force her to go or take legal matters in his own hands but will LET her come with me if she agrees. Yes, this is a man who can't make a decision on his own or take responsibility for anything.His family has basically taken care of her while I frequently visit. Her school work has gone down hill in the past 2 years and she has barely passed by going to summer school each time. He knows at her age she needs her mom to deal with issues and he wants a life,as he put it. My question is, can I move her out of state before any judge's signature has been put on any paper work because he wants me to pick her up in a couple of weeks and keep her because school will be starting here. Is there a cheaper way to file? I do not comprehend the papers you can print yourself and file...I don't get the lawyer lingo. Any advice would be appreciated.
