The paperwork for CS was signed by the judge and both parties 5/19/09. EX (self employed)was supposed to send first check to AG on June 6 which she and her lawyer said she did. Called the AG's office and they have no record of the 5/19 court decision. They wouldn't even look at a copy of the decree. How long does it take for them to get the paperwork?

Welcome to the world of the Texas attorney general. Just make plans to waste half of your day dealing with them. My suggestion would be to get a copy of the signed order and sent it to the AG (call and find out exactly who to send it to). You can also go into one of the local offices (again plan on at least half a day). Eventhough they do not show any records, ex is still responsible for the money due. In my case, it only took 4 weeks for the paperwork to be set and automatic deduction to start coming out of my check. I send the 1st months worth of child support in with the case number on the check. It was credited to my CS account w/ AG. You can also look on their website for additional information and answers to your questions. You could also use your attorney, but it will cost some $$$$
