NeedHelp12 New User Registered: 06/12/09 Posts: 4	My divorce occured in Illinois however, my son now lives in Texas. My divorce attorney sent me a letter stating that my ex he wants to entend the abatment period. I have CS of Texas enforcing support, so can he ask for an abatement in IL when the child lives in TX? Will it be granted if I have no money to fight him? and Will this clear him in Texas or will Texas continue to enforce support?
