A few questions for our CS veterans. In early April 09, I filed a Foreign Judgment to transfer my CS case from WA to Arizona for enforcement & review. I’m not sure what to do next, and the divisions are not very helpful either.

Do I now just file an application for Child Support Services with DCSE? Will they recognize the order from WA as it is? Then once I get my foot in the door, do I request a modification?

The Child Support Clearing house can see the case ‘out’ there but it hasn’t made it’s way to them.

Thank you!

Schedule a meeting with the Child Support Enforcement Unit of the Attorney General. Either that or meet with a private attorney to see about filing an action to enforce (and jurisdictional issues pertaining thereto). The A.G. can get around jurisdictional issues more easily, but they do tend to move slowly, backlogged as they are with enforcement cases.
