My ex has to pay me half of his retirement. This is a state employee QDRO retirement plan. How long will it take me to receive it from hi,? I plan on using this to hire an attorney to get custody of our 13 yr. old daughter!
He was awarded custody of her because I am awaiting my disability & the judge in the state of Florida didn't even talk to her!
He has been living with a woman since 2 wks after our seperation. his fiance was arrested for grand theft, forgery, doing, manufacturing, dealing, & trafficking Meth! This is the person who is allowed to treat our daughter any way she pleases! My ex is also a state prison guard!
My daughter doesn't want to be there, and this is killing her!
They both were warned by the judge about who should be doing the parenting but nothing has changed! So, when I get this money I plan on hiring an attorney for her & 1 for me. I figured this way the judge WOULD HAVE to hear daughter's side!
please help I have no idea of exactly what to expect!

Typically, you don't receive anything until he retires. When he receives his pension, you get your percentage from those dispersements.
