I am planning to file for divorce using one of the We The People services (unless someone has a reason not to use these types of services), and I was wondering how long after I file will I get a court order for child support? And how long would it take to actually start getting the support? He is unemployed, so it would come out of his unemployment check, but he is giving absolutely nothing so anything would help. I am anxious to get it going and hope it would yield some results.

Once he actually gets a job, will they automatically locate him and attach his check, or would I have to do the detective work and find out where he works and report it?

Thanks!

In my state, the first check arrives in 90 days maximum.
