Hi all, my wife filed for divorce in indiana in 2006. We tried being together again and finally separated 12/2/2008. The case remained open the entire time. At the time she filed, she filed in the county her family is in, a place she hasn't lived for 20 years, but she has a PO Box there. She also had only been a resident of IN for no more than 3 months (in Bloomington), and actually closer to 2. When the certified letter came in 06 notifying me of divorce I didn't pick it up. I did have to sign something later, the provisional order. Does the court care at all that she lied or am I stuck on her home turf? Thanks!

I suggest you talk to an attorney. Jurisdiction can be tricky at times.
