I am Petitioner in proceeding. I am tired so so so tired. What exactly is the F.E.N.E process in MN and how would one best prepare "document wise". stb-ex has done everything to evade filing his 2007 taxes. To such the point that it really takes no genius to figure out that with all the time and effort he is putting into the gathering of documents,ie doctored I'm sure. Why? "Am I legally in a position to request that he file the 2007 taxes? I ask this because I recieved the 1099 for his 2007 tsxes after he left, however I never thought it was the end. I ask because his 1099 was nearly 200,000.00 and the time he is taking gathering these, he could have filed. Maybe there is more 1099's? What should I do?

You can contact your tax preparer for a copy of your taxes. If done by yourself you can contact the IRS and ask for a copy of the taxes. I suggest you get copies of recent bank statements, inidividual accounts. You can alsorequest a copu of your credit report free onec per year which lists accounts opened in your name and jointly.

This post is old, but remember that 1099 income is gross before allowed business expenses. $200K could mean he took home $10K, $100K or maybe even lost money. It means nothing by itself.
