Anyone else in New Mexico going through the pure unadulterated Hell of an unwanted divorce? If so maybe we can talk? Reply.

Congratulations, you're the first poster on the NM board since the new board format started. I also saw your post on the ask the PI board about adultery.

Divorcenet has a real good resource page on NM divorce. You can read it at URL

www.divorcenent.com/nm/nm.html

Under the section called "Frequently asked questions"(FAQ), read the FAQ on divorce and separation. You will see that NM allows a fault divorce on adultery but it is very hard and expensive(legal fees). You have to prove adultery to the court and the court is the one to have the final say on whether adultery occured or not. Better to divorce on grounds of incompatibility or irreconcilable differences. You would be wise to have a consulation with a family (divorce) lawyer to review your situtation. It can be free or cost you an hour or so of legal fees. Before going, read every part of the web page I referenced above.

I know these are old posts, but if you still visit this site- Yes there are people on here from New Mexico.

"Yes" New Mexico's judicial system is backward, or at least it seems. I will talk to you because everyone going through the "Nasty Stuff" that leads them to this site, needs someone to vent with...lord knows I do!!

I don't know about everyone else, but when you feel the heart-ache for your children, like I do, you feel like nobody understands, it seems like you're alone. Even though you may have people by your side to encourage you, it seems like they are speaking from imagination- not from the heart. It's hard, very hard.
