Just a quick one....

I have paid for section IV-D Services. I am searching and trying to find if they will research to find my ex's income, because I am suspicious to a major increase since we went to court. I have been on here before...I have a horrible story. I am not a money monger. However...my ex is a sociopath, embezzled 28 thousand from my family...it is an issue, he is a manipulator. Here are the questions

1. Does title IV-D check on income if I were to ask?
2. Our divorce decree says we are to SHARE our daughters activities, yet I cannot get him to pay 1 cent toward her scouts, swimming, piano..... I have spent probably 15,000.00 on my own from Pre-K to now for her .....and I will continue to, but fair is fair.

I am wanting to go back for a modification of CS, to include these "other child rearing expenses" which are provided for in the guidelines.

Any suggestions?

I'd be careful if I were you. From reading your past posts, your search for justice could make both you and the child victims.

I agree with astro.....you are just talking about money here....You certainly have a right to pursue, but just know it will mean more involvement by your ex in you and your daughter's life. Do you REALLY want that.....

I would just leave it alone

wow....so should I give up the ghost on the activity fees, but still ask for production of documents to make sure the base CS amount is accurate. 65 bucks a week.....forever????
