My Ex has a protective order on me as well as I have one on her. This is going to be a bit weird but here goes.
Aug 4th I get full legal custody of our 2 kids.I proved her unfit.
I was trying to set visits up for her to see the kids as much as possible but she kept screwing around and giving me every reason in the book not to see the kids but then would show up at my door whenever and want to see the kids.Aug 13th she files for a protective order on me,knowing I have the kids and have to supervise visits. She then gets me fired from my job,and I had to file for a protective order to get my job back. The Judge already doesn't like her as it is and knows she caused me to loose my job.We go to court Sept 5th for the hearing on the protective order.I have someone to do the visits now,and there was suppose to be one today but she was a no show.I was giving her 1 visit a week 2 hours at a time since she was screwing me over so much.I have had to cut it to 1 visit a week 1 hour at a time now since my kids are mentally screwed up over all she has done.
The protective order she filed on me is nothing but lies again, and we go in front of the same Judge who granted me custody in August.
So my question is how often should visits be?Indiana has no guildelines for supervised visits.

I would let the judge decide how often and how long these visits should be. Just keep a journal of the scheduled visits and the results and provide it to the court.

I don't believe there are any particular guidelines for visitation other than beginning with standard every other weekend visits, because each family unit is individual and visitation will vary as such. Even in cases of supervised visits, the court will still fluctuate based on the circumstances.
