I have a divorce decree that specifies the terms that will go into a Domestic Relations Order. It lays out how much of my 401K will go to my ex-wife and provides for some additional funds to be distributed from my 401K. It was signed by a judge in King County, but the plan administrator will not accept it as the first step in the QDRO process, and says I need to get a signed QDRO from the court. Any advice on how to do that?

If you have the terms signed by a judge, it should be a fairly simple and inexpensive matter to get an attorney to draft the QDRO.
