This question is for a friend. She recently relocated from Minnesota to Indiana for work about 6 months ago. Her boyfriend, who has been divorced several years with two children, relocated to IN also. Shortly after he arrived his two children arrived for visitation and will be here about 8 weeks and then will be going back to MN for school. The ex wife still lives in MN. Custody and CS have never been established by the court. The ex called the boyfriend and told him she is filing for sole custody. And the boyfriend's attorney tells her she will get it since he lives out of state. My experience tells me the attorney is a wack job...joint legal will be the order with her having primary physical. Anyone have any thoughts? (P.S. this comes one day after this couple became "officially" engaged with a ring)
