My wife has recently moved to Colorado Springs Colorado. She wants a divorce. She has lived in Colorado for 5 weeks now and Colorado law is new residents need to live in Colorado for 90 days. Before they can file a divorce in Colorado. She has an apartment of her own there in her and her fathers name she also has a Colorado mailing address there. Can she still file for divorce in South Dakota with or with out an attorney even though she is living in Colorado and has a Colorado mailing address and a apartment where she lives?
