Hello, I am new-ish to the boards. I used to look up items of interest for my husband and his child support resentments .... now he's forced me out of our home 15 years later by way of threats and mental/emotional abuse.

I am disabled and was told (by him) it is "my problem" and he wants "nothing to do with it" "it's always something with you, anyway"!!

So, I moved from our home in NH to MA for my cancer treatments in Boston, and I am wondering: does anyone know if there is any way I can have this heard here in MA rather than NH in "his" court
(where he knows everyone, the police, the lawyers, judges etc as we own a business and he's made powerful friends)
due to my disability or any other reason? I am working alone on my divorce and he recently agreed to mediation.

Neither (that I know) has a lawyer. Help?? Advice??[/color]
