I'm currently going through a no fault divorce and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it usually takes to be sign and finish from the time it is filed. We live in a small town of about 30,000. Thanks

It depends if you are in agreement with EVERYTHING. It can be done in 3 months or less if in agreement.

It can be done in a day if everything is completed. I'm wanting to know how I post a message as I am in New Zealand and have just sent for a contested divorce package from NM as my husband when I was on vacation in Australia closed our bank accounts and told me he wanted a divorce all without discussion. He cancelled my residency application and as I couldn't live in the States I returned here. he wants a divorce but won't file as he won't abide by NM law. Any attorney wants $3000 from me to begin the process of dicovery. I don't want that as I am happy for a judge to decide who gets what. how do I post a message about this? I probably need a paralegal in NM to help me.
