Hi, I know this is not a divorce question, but I saw it on a board for another state and cannot find the answers anywhere. Does anyone know what the age requirement is for leaving your kids alone at home in RI? And is there an age requirement for babysitting outside of the house etc?

I am a babysitters training instructor for the American Red Cross and I cannot find the information anywhere. If you know the answers please fell free to e-mail me asap! Thanks!

Leaving aside the fact that, legally, not allowed to work up to 18 years, I do not think the babysitting is sick. And if babysitting can be considered a work. Take care of a child or more children is a pleasure. You can do many enjoyable activities with their children. They are nice and with a rich imagination. :cry: :/
To be babysitter the age is important but, especially, mental and physical ability to do so.
