Hi,
I am in the Navy, married for almost 10 years but separated for 3 years. Ive been trying to divorce my spouse for over a year but I am too busy with overseas deployment and spouse is evading. I sent spouse divorce papers but spouse relocated somewhere else, I dont know where. unsigned papers were returned to me by postal service because spouse does not live there anymore (has disappeared). We have no kids. I want to finalize my divorce before the "10 years", I also have no lawyer. Is my evading spouse eligible for my retirement (I think shes hiding to keep ID's, health care & the 50%)? Do I have to wait for coming back from deployment to finish my divorce or will I have to start a new divorce? I need advice. Thanks for helping.

I would suggest you ask these questions in the Military Divorce area above the states listings. You will get more views and responses there. Good luck.
