Under normal circumstances, you are so right. Marital property is marital property. This guys problem is that all the land was purchased pre-marriage and was HERS. The house that was built on the land was post marriage. That would make the house only marital property, right? Unless she can prove that the money to build that house came from her premarital assests - right?
